How many rings do I need?

The number of rings you use on a given drapery rod depends on the style of the drapery panel. Pinch-pleated draperies need a ring for each pleat, plus one for the leading edge, and, if desired, one for each outside edge. Flat-panel draperies can have rings spaced six to eight or ten inches apart. Draperies with back tabs can have rings pinned on in the center of each tab.
