Selection Guide
The Step-by-Step Guidelines below correspond to the various product options in each drop-down.

An Important Note about Drapery Hardware Classification:
Drapery Hardware is classified by each Collection's Rod or Pole Diameter. For example, if you are looking at the Kirsch Estate Wrought Iron 1 3/8" Traverse Rod, that means the pole is based on a 1 3/8" Diameter Pole, and the finials are designed to fit a 1 3/8" Diameter Pole.

- 1. Color: Select a color. The Color you select will be applied to all items, including color-coordinated carriers and finials.
- 2. Width: Rod Width is the finished width of your Kirsch Estate Rod. We do not make any additions or subtractions to the Rod Width you select; your Rod will be the exact width specified by you. Please note that if you are installing your Estate Rod as an Inside Mount (wall to wall, for example), you will need to make a deduction so that the Rod is not the exact same width as the opening. Keep this in mind as well for your finial selection, as a rod-width deduction must be made for finial width in the case of a wall-to-wall installation.

3. Carrier Style: Kirsch Estate Rods can be manufactured for Pinch Pleat Draperies or Ripplefold Draperies. Pinch Pleat Draperies are attached to the Rod with Drapery Pins. If you have Pinch Pleat Draperies, select the Pinch Pleat Carrier Style. If you are selecting Ripplefold Carriers:
- a. Ripplefold Fullness: Ripplefold Draperies are attached to the Rod via Ripplefold Snap Tape. Snap Tape is sewn onto the Drapery Panels at the time the Drapery Panels are fabricated. Kirsch Estate Rods can be fabricated with Ripplefold Snap Carriers to match Ripplefold Fullness of 60%, 80%, 100%, and 120%. The amount of Ripplefold Fullness selected for your Kirsch Estate Rod must match the fullness of your Ripplefold Drapery panels.

b. Ripplefold Master Slides: In addition to Ripplefold Fullness, you must choose Master Slide Style:
- i. Overlap Master Slides allow the fabric to 'overlap' in the center (Viewed from above):

- ii. Butt Master Slides allow the fabric to 'butt' in the center (Viewed from above):

4. Draw/Stack: 'Draw' or 'Stack' refers to how your Drapery Panels operate. You have three options:
- a. Center-Open/Split Draw: A pair of drapery panels "meet" in the center of the Rod when the panels are drawn and are "stacked" at each side of the Rod when the panels are returned.
- b. One-Way Left Draw: The Rod opens and closes a single panel from the left side of the Rod.
- c. One-Way Right Draw: The Rod opens and closes a single panel from the right side of the Rod.

5. Optional Motorization: Estate Rods can be ordered with either Cord Draw or AMP Motorization
- a. Cord Draw: A selection of 'Cord Draw-No Motorization' means that your Estate Rod will be controlled by a cord. With this slection, choose Cord Position (Right or Left) and Cord Drop (6 feet to 18 feet). Cord Drop is determined based on how high your Rod is above the floor. Cord Drop should be ordered slightly longer than you need. At the time of installation the cord is then shortened to the exact length
- b. AMP Motorization: With AMP Motorization select whether you prefer the motor to be on the right or left side of the rod. For a one-way draw drapery, you will want the motor to be on the same side that your drapery 'stacks' to. This way, the motor is always hidden behing the drapery fabric. Once you select Motor Position, select the type of AMP Controller you prefer; a Handheld Controller, a Wall Mount Controller, or No Controller. No Controller is selected in cases where you are ordering multiple rods and have already selected a Controller, or if you already have a controller.

6. Brackets: The number of brackets supplied with your rod will be determined by us, based upon the width of the rod you select. Wall Mount Brackets are available in two configurations:
- a. Wall Mount Brackets, Adjustable 3 1/2" to 4 1/2": Select these brackets to mount a single rod in cases in which you do not need to clear any other items or obstructions behind the rod.
- b. Wall Mount Brackets, 6" Return: Select these brackets when additional rear-clearance is called for.
- 7. Finials: Finials are selected as one 'pair' (one for each end of the Rod) and will be the same color as your Rod. If you prefer to not receive finials with your Rod, select 'No Finials'.

Kirsch Estate Rods are shipped to you fully assembled. Rods exceeding 93" in Length will be spliced for shipping. The Splice is covered with a color-matching Keytstone. Kirsch Estate Rods can be manufactured to a Maximum Width of 16 ft. (192") and carry a maximum drapery weight of 80 pounds (corded) and 64 pounds (motorized).
